I'll Put Something Clever Here Later

I don't really know what my intentions are for this thing...but I figured I may as well get one.

Smartphones: or “I don’t want to spend $100 a month.”

I’m looking at smart phones right now. This past week since my car got broken into, I don’t have a gps anymore. This is not something I’m comfortable with when driving to new places in this big city with complicated streets/highways.

So I’m at a crossroads: do I buy a new GPS, or do I buy a smart phone that has a gps on it.

I’m looking at phones and plans. The Samsung S III caught my eye, and of couse everyone keeps saying iphone’s best. I’m comparing pricing and plans…and it looks like with a 2 year contract, I’d get a phone for about $200, and then be paying somewhere around $100 a month.

Is it worth it? I know it’s convenient…but is that convenience worth $100 a month? That’s just so much money. I’m just not sure how I feel about it. Maybe after I pay off my car I’ll be ready to move forward with taking on that price.
